Coach Nate

Owner and head coach Nate brings decades of competitive gymnastics experience, including time as a Stanford Gymnastics coach and a certified judge. He built Interstellar to give Silicon Valley families a gym where high-level training meets a welcoming, kid-first culture.

Coach Boomer

Jacob (Coach Boomer) is studying Industrial Design at San Jose State University. Throughout his time there, he has worked at Stanford, Carbon, a local design firm called Hatch Duo, and most recently SlimDesign, a design firm in Amsterdam.

Jacob competed through Level 10, with floor being his best event. By age 15, he was working on double layouts, triple fulls, and many other skills. His experience as a gymnast has given him a strong understanding of the sport and a passion for helping others improve.

He loves coaching and enjoys helping students learn, grow, and have fun while doing it. His background in both gymnastics and design has taught him to approach challenges from different angles, think creatively, and find ways to help each student understand and improve. He brings that same mindset to coaching, creating an environment where students can learn, laugh, smile, and enjoy gymnastics along the way.
